Three years into My Recovery & the cleaning of my wreckage is well under way.
I can write a thousand blogs of how God has transformed my life & the lives of my precious children.
I chose to write this one because it's not too personal & it's significant to me.
When I was carrying Saedee an "friend" & I use that term in the very loosely. Called & asked for a ride & punched my visor, inside the car., needless to say it shattered my windshield.
The embarrassment of driving this car has progressed, let's face it though it's not necessarily a priority when finances are tight.
Today I came outside & it had progressed to the driver side., obviously leaving the car not safe & ticket friendly.
Today my windshield is being replaced., & though that may seem insignificant to you, it's HUGE to me., its one less reminder of error of my past.
The error's remain as scars on my life & heart for as long as I live. Thankfully One Day At A Time, I get to learn to live & accept things just as they were & just as they are.
It's more than just a windshield

On a very funny side note. Well I think I guarantee it's not funny to those around me.
When we called to get windshield replaced., I thought my Ford Explorer was a 2002. The guy comes & goes to replace it., pushes & pulls to get windshield off, only to go to put the other one on to realize it won't fit., he looks inside the driver door., Uhm my truck is a 2008. My in laws both shook there head., My Mother in law tells the man in Spanish., she is a real blond. It's not really funny but it's kind of hilarious to me.....
hooray for new windshields!
